Welcome to my website! I have no idea how you found it within the vast internet space, but thanks for dropping by nonetheless! You might have noticed that my website is a replica of the home screen from a Windows 95 computer, and there are a few reasons for this. The first is that the computer my family first bought back in the mid 90s had the game-changing Windows 95 operating system installed on it, and I have fond memories of using it, like the computer taking several minutes to boot, dial-up internet that sounded like a really bad case of tinnitus, low resolution pictures loading line by line, and of course, floppy disks! The second reason is that I was born in the 90s (1991 to be exact) and it is my favourite decade. It was a time when we had great movies, funny daytime TV, awesome music (MTV was an actual music television channel back then!), the freedom to play and create our own fun outside, and technology that wasn’t as overbearing as it is today (Tamagotchis anyone?). So whenever I visit my own website, I am briefly transported back to what in my opinion was a much better time, and maybe you will be too!
What will you find here? Well, aside from 90s GIFs littered all over the place, this is simply a place where I gather my thoughts in a world that is changing rapidly. Hopefully you might find something useful here, but if not, that’s ok as well!
